Its range is confined to cold, boreal waters of the Arctic, northern Atlantic, and northern Pacific Oceans, seldom found farther south than 42°N latitude. Similar jellyfish, which may be the same species, are known to inhabit seas near Australia and New Zealand.

Sharks are immune to all known diseases

Sharks immune to all diseases

Are Sharks immune to all the diseases? This is a good question and the answer is YES, Though the word sounds really scary but one interesting fact about them is  they are actually immune to all known diseases.

Facts about Sharks

The reason is :

" Basically, sharks seem to possess only one class of broad-spectrum serum antibody - similar to that found in human infants. In humans, this broad-spectrum class of antibody is replaced by more specific antibodies as the child matures and is exposed to a greater variety of pathogens. Conversely, sharks retain their non-specific immune response throughout their lives. This generalized immune system is one of the reasons sharks are able to detoxify many potentially harmful compounds quickly without need of prior exposure. Sharks injected with carcinogens, coliform bacteria, and - most recently - exotic fungal toxins at concentrations that would kill most vertebrates outright, have detoxified these pathogens and survived apparently without ill effects. It snows metal on Venus

 Metal snow on Venus

It snows metal on the planet venus but seeing Some of Earth’s most majestic features are its towering snowcapped mountains, reaching high enough that they can sculpt our world’s weather systems. But the mountains on Earth are by no means unique, and neither is the snow. Mountains on Venus are also capped with snow. Except that Venusian snow is mostly made from heavy metals.
As you might expect from a planet with such an alien atmosphere, the snow which caps the Venusian mountains is seemingly no less exotic. With the high temperatures on the planet’s surface, water ice is impossible (not that there is much water on Venus). It’s made from lead sulfide and bismuth sulfide, more commonly known as the minerals galena and bismuthinite.

Jellyfish evaporate in the sun

Jellyfish evaporate in the sun,They're 98% water!

Jellyfish evaporates in sun

Jellyfish in sun will soon evaporate but When jellyfish are in the water, they can be a bit intimidating. Their tentacles can pack a painful electrical shock. However, once they wash up on shore, they are anything but intimidating.
It turns out that jellyfish are 98% water. Most are transparent and bell-shaped. If they end up on the beach, they will most likely evaporate in a few hours and mostly disappear.
Jellyfish also don’t have brains, bones or a heart. They do have rudimentary sensory nerves though.

Giant hornets in Japan melts human flesh

Giant hornets in japan

Well in Japan giant hornets could melt human flesh and give those fictional tracker jackers a run for their money.
These hornets, which live in the mountains of japan, are two inches long with a three inch wingspan. They sound more like tiny bird than insects. Their stinger is a quarter of an inch long, and it's venom is so powerful that it can actually dissolve human tissue and flesh. Sounds scary!!

Hornets in japan melt human flesh

One man who was stung by the giant hornets described it feeling "like a hot nail through my leg." And about 40 people die each year from these stings.
If they are not treated soon after being stung or they are allergic to the hornets, they can perish from the venom.

Insects don’t feel pain

Insects don't feel pain

Everyone is hit by pain but not Insects, they don't feel pain

Pain is officially defined as, “An unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage,” yet is experienced differently by each person and organism. Because of this it is extremely difficult to describe just how an animal experiences pain. To study how an animal experiences pain “argument-by-analogy” is applied. This means if the animal reacts in a similar way to how we would, we believe they are experiencing pain.

An example of this is if a human being was pricked with a pin he would immediately run away of retrieve his hand as with great reflexes, just as any other animal would,The strange thing with insects is that they have no capacity to feel pain at all! Nociceptors are what carry the feeling of pain to the brain. These are essential to experience pain, yet insects and crustaceans have never been found to have any! This means most of these animals are unable to feel any sort of pain!
